Quality Facilities

OMRS currently provides services for 53 residents with intellectual and developmental disabilities. We have 14 licensed group homes that range in occupancy from 2-5 residents each. Many participate in community-based programs such as an alternative to work program (ATE) or paid employment, depending on the needs of each individual.

Our homes are filled with experienced caregivers that encourage personal growth, provide a sense of stability and family, and encourage participation in the community. We’re here to make a difference in the lives of the disabled. Every day is an opportunity to learn and make life better for the individuals we serve.

Several of our homes have been built brand new or remodeled with grants provided by Oregon Housing. Competition can be intense for the limited resources available from this agency, in a typical year, only 50 percent of applications receive funding. This funding has enabled OMRS to provide housing and support to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities for over 30 years.
